Wexford Teams make Robbie Finals
Congratulations to the Wexford Boys U14 and U18 Teams for both making the Robbie tournament Finals this Past Canada Day Long Week-end.
Both teams lost in the finals to their rivals.
The Under 14 Boys Wexford Wolves posted a 3:2 loss to the Aurora Stingers. During tournament play the Wolves defeated Olympic Flame 2-0, Richmond Hill Raiders 1-0 and tied the NSDSC Celtic 98's 0-0. In Semi Final action the Wolves downed the Pickering Power Green 2-1 to make the finals.
The U18 Wexford Heat boys were defeated 2:0 by Club Nacional de Montevideo of Uruguay. During tournament play the Heat defeated Richmond Hill Raiders 3-0, the Jr. Irish 94 Premier NIFA team 2-0, and the Waterloo warriors 3-0, in round robin play. They also defeated the 94 Brampton Blast in the Semi's to advance to the finals. We look forward to more success with these teams as the season continues...
